Fall cooling is just around the corner. It’s time to get your scarves out and organized so they’re at the ready when you need them. It’s also a good idea to keep one or two in the car for those sneaky surprise chills that seem to come out of nowhere. And, even through they’re good at it, scarves are not just for locking in the warm and blocking cold. They’re also great fashion accessories that can give new life to anything in your closet. So I did some research to find the best how to tie a scarf videos. I settled on these three because they’re well done, they’re fun to watch, and they’re very informative. Between the three of them, you’ll get demonstrations on 40 different ways to tie a scarf. And they’re easy to learn.
25 Ways to Wear a Scarf in 4.5 Minutes by Wendy Nguyen lives up to its title. It’s a fast and fun run through different scarf wearing styles, using a number of different sizes and styles of scarves in the demonstrations.
This video from Coldwater Creek, 8 Ways to Tie a Scarf, is a little less ambitious, presenting its eight demonstrations in about two minutes, twenty-two seconds. And there is a bit of overlap between it and the Wendy Nguyen video. But there are some additional styles here, and where there is overlap it’s nice to see another model demonstrating the method. It’s positive reinforcement.
Scarves are a great accessory for men, too. And this video by MaennerStyle, How to Wear a Scarf, 7 Styles for Men, demonstrates that the ascot loop is not the only option.
