Women’s Handmade Hats
My name is Terry Graziano, and I am an artist and hat designer by trade. I grew up in New Jersey, have lived in Philadelphia, New York and Chicago, and am currently based in Taos, New Mexico. I began my creative life as an actress, then gravitated to costume design, and eventually moved into fashion design. I learned to love sewing and patternmaking for clothing while in graduate school, where I also studied millinery techniques. Eventually, I combined my skills and passions to create hats and headpieces that are purposefully designed to be worn many different ways, yet remain intriguing in any configuration. I use only mill-end surplus fabrics, and most styles are adjustable for head size and shape.
