The Upcycled Closet designs unique, quality up-cycled fashion for creative women who want to express their individuality! My up-cycled clothing gives them that oppourtunity!

I have 58 years of experience in garment construction!!!! I started sewing when I was a young girl. My parents bought me a sewing machine and lessons for my tenth birthday. I was hooked! I have made everything from doll clothes to my daughter’s wedding gown. I have four children so, I started recycling clothing a long time ago! Before, it was the thing to do!

I spend a lot of time looking for used clothing at garage sales, Good Will, resale shops and occasionally, clearance racks! I also have family and friends who always have an eye open for me, too! But, before I use these items in clothing I check for holes and stains and wash everything.

I love creating something new from something old!
