Nate Waxman creates jewelry which is unique and has an adoring, ever-growing fan base. When he first entered the jewelry business, Nate joined the Swoboda company, a now legendary name in high-end fashion jewelry. He learned casting, plating, and molding, and within a few years was collaborating on the designing. With Nate’s contribution to the company, it grew to be a bustling business and one of the major names in jewelry of the era. Nate worked with Swoboda, Inc. until 1978, their designs being sold in all the top stores, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Harrod’s of London, and Neiman Marcus, just to name a few. The pieces were proudly worn by many exciting movie stars of the golden age. Since leaving Swoboda, Nate has continued creating designs along similar lines, using 22 karat gold plating and genuine gemstones to create affordable pieces that have all the visual appeal of the most expensive jewelry. Some pieces are directly related to the Swoboda originals, and many pieces are variations on the Swoboda theme, but themselves are Nate Waxman originals.
