Colorful Handmade Glass Jewelry

I began as far from glass as anyone could. I studied Journalism and French and supposed I would become an foreign correspondent. Entering the working world at age 24, commuting to my job in the city from Brooklyn, it became a grind and I felt ground down to a stub. In order to change things up a bit, I began taking classes at a public glass studio close to my apartment called Urban Glass-it’s still there. I took classes and watched professional glass artists ply their trade. It fascinated me. I wasn’t an artist but I enjoyed working with glass-so colorful, viscous when hot and infinitely recyclable. It took a good while to develop my style (notice I didn’t say skills, as those come naturally as you work) and it has evolved and continues to evolve as I change. That’s what I love about being an artist, your work changes as you change. New work is inevitable since change is inevitable.
I use a simple approach to a classic material. Each piece is individually made, by hand, in booming creative Los Angeles, California. Available in hundreds of colors to create custom color combinations. Well edited, yet unconventional styling. Every piece is an instant classic.
