THE GAIA STORY
When I was a teenager my father was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Research has linked MS to a prepubescent exposure to an environmental toxin.
This created a strong desire for me to understand environmental pollution and how solutions can be connected to our every day lives. I created Gaia
Conceptions in 2003 with a focus on organic fabrics, earth friendly dyes, and simple designs. I was still in college so Gaia Conceptions remained
small and festival based. After a year traveling in India and studying in the Netherlands I returned with a renewed focus and a head full of
