t.w.i.n.k. stands for Two Women In Nature's Knowledge, and that's what we are. Karen and Rhiannon are the brains behind the beauty, and we hand-make every single one of the products in this shop. We love custom orders and suggestions, so feel free to convo us anytime!

We hand-craft all our soaps in small batches, so our stock is constantly changing. If you would like a soap you saw from us before but can't find it now, let us know and we will be happy to make a batch just for you.

Our philosophy:
"Methyl-para-laureth-oxy-what?!" Our philosophy is that if you can't pronounce it, you shouldn't put it on your skin... which is part of the reason we use only minimally-processed mineral and natural, non-toxic ingredients instead of manufactured synthetic compounds. Your skin will thank us for it!

We often wonder about some of the ingredients we read on big name products, and in doing our homework, we discovered a great resource for consumers who want to know just what they are putting on their skin (and in their bodies via their pores)! Check out the Cosmetic Database, where you can search for those mysterious chemicals and learn about their hazards. You may be surprised at what you find! The FDA Regulations on cosmetic additives are also a good place to start (we use edible, food-grade ingredients whenever possible).
